Roadway Lighting and Electrical Design Specialist Joins F&H

Florence & Hutcheson (F&H) is pleased to announce Jay Stancil, PLS, has joined the F&H Raleigh office. Jay has more than 17 years’ experience in Roadway Lighting and Electrical for the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT). He served as the NCDOT Engineering Squad Leader for Roadway Lighting and Electrical Design for the entire state of North Carolina for 9 years. Prior to joining the NCDOT, Jay worked 14 years as a land surveyor and PLS. Jay retired from the NCDOT in 2010 after 25 years of service. He notes his most challenging and rewarding NCDOT project was overseeing the complete renovation of the existing lighting for I-277 in Charlotte (the Brookside Freeway).
