F&H Enhances Firmwide Information Technologies

Mansfield To Lead IT Innovation

Florence & Hutcheson, Inc. (F&H), a leading US-based engineering firm focused on designing and strengthening America’s civil infrastructure, announced that Steve Mansfield Jr. has joined the firm as Director of Information Technology.

Mansfield will lead companywide technology initiatives and will coordinate internal and external technical support and services.

“Information technologies impact our industry at a rapid pace, and we are advancing our design and decision support tools to better serve our clients,” said Robert L Echols, Jr., PE, PLS, Chief Executive Officer of Florence & Hutcheson. “Steve will keep us ahead of next generation technologies with the innovation he will bring to the firm.”

Mansfield has more than 12 years of experience as a Microsoft Certified Professional focused on supporting and implementing next generation technologies. He has over 24 years of civil engineering industry experience within the Information Technology and Survey fields. His experience ranges from IT infrastructure design, consolidation, and management to the development of Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity Plans.

Mansfield served as an IT Engineer with Grey Worldwide (WPP), managing their Atlanta information technology interest encompassing multiple offices and divisions for the past nine years. In addition, he has served as an independent consultant with Florence & Hutcheson and several other engineering firms for the past several years. He will be based in the firm’s Atlanta Office.
